Core Duties

• Planning and oversight of native plant stewardship courses offered through WNPS.
• Provide and support on-going training for native plant stewards.

Grants and Scholarships Committee

• We are always soliciting grant requests to fund projects consistent with the Society’s mission.
• We offer scholarships to defray costs to attend events such as WNPS Study Weekends, Botany Washington, scientific conferences, and other workshops.

Conservation Committee

Current Committee projects include the study and protection of balds, public education on urban native plant gardens that support native pollinators, and coordination with local farms to increase plantings of pollinator friendly native plant hedgerows.
